Weave Types
The weave construction of woven wire mesh affects its open area, strength, and filtration performance. We supply two main weave types:
Plain Weave (Square)
The standard weave construction where each wire passes over one and under one. Provides a large open area relative to wire diameter, ideal for most general screening and filtration applications.
Hollander Weave
A specialist weave using heavy warp wires and fine, closely spaced weft wires. Produces a very fine filtration cloth with minimal open area. Used in precision filtration applications where the tightest possible aperture is required.

Less common specifications and custom requirements are manufactured to order. We supply in roll form and cut lengths depending on your requirements.
